Job summary

Moxy Boston Downtown seeks an Overnight Manager to lead the night team and ensure seamless hotel operations while guests sleep.

As the Manager on Duty from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, you will oversee front desk and guest services, resolve guest concerns, monitor overnight operations, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel front office, guest services, or supervisory/management experience.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Hospitality degree or related coursework preferred.
• Strong leadership and guest services skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Manager on Duty during the overnight shift.
• Oversee hotel operations from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Lead, support, and motivate overnight TEAM members.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain nightly audit accuracy with the Night Auditor.
• Communicate overnight issues to the morning leadership team.

Responsibilities

As Overnight Manager, you will:

• Serve as the Manager on Duty during the overnight shift
• Oversee hotel operationsfrom11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Lead, support, and motivate overnight TEAM members
• Ensure exceptional guestservice and promptlyresolve guest concerns
• Oversee front desk, guest services, andovernightoperational activities
• Support and monitorthe Night Auditorand ensure accuratecompletion of thenightly audit
• Reviewarrivals, departures, roomstatus, and otheroperational reports
• Handle late-nightguest requests, complaints, and service recovery
• Conduct regular propertywalks to ensurecleanliness, safety, security, andhotel standards aremaintained
• Respond appropriately toemergencies, incidents,and security concerns
• Communicate important overnightissues and operationalupdates to themorning leadership TEAM
• Ensurethe hotel isprepared for themorning shift andfollowing day's operations
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and shiftreports
• Follow all hotelpolicies, procedures, andbrand standards
• Work collaboratively withall hotel departmentsto support overallguest and TEAMmember satisfaction
• Lead by exampleand create apositive, energetic, andwelcoming environment
• Perform additional dutiesas assigned byhotel leadership

What We're LookingFor

• 2+ years of hotel front office, guest services, or supervisory/management experience preferred
• Previous experience ina branded orlifestyle hotel environmentstrongly preferred
• Overnight or NightAudit experience isa plus
• Hospitality degree orrelated collegecoursework preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest serviceskills
• Confident decision-makerwith the abilityto work independentlyovernight
• Positive, energetic, andhands-on leadershipstyle
• Excellentorganizational skills withthe ability tomultitask and prioritize
• Strong attention todetail and abilityto remain calmunder pressure
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Officeand hotel technology/platforms
• Experience with systemssuch as Opera, Lightspeed, HotSOS, Slack, or similar hotelplatforms is aplus
• Fluency in Englishrequired; additional languages, particularly Spanish,are a plus
• Must be available to work the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays
