THE POSITION

The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a dedicated individual committed to safeguarding the health and safety of Pennsylvania citizens and the environment. If you are eager to start or advance your career as a Management Technician, we encourage you to apply and join our team!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Department oversees various grant programs addressing environmental challenges. The Grants Center provides administrative support for these initiatives. The successful candidate will develop and implement administrative protocols to manage rebate processes and grant agreements, collaborating with technical staff across the Department.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  1. Full-time employment
  2. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break.
  3. Telework: Opportunity for part-time telework up to 3 days/week, requiring a secure high-speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If unable to telework, reporting to Harrisburg headquarters is an option.
  4. Salary: Starting at $44,890.00 annually for new employees to the Commonwealth.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of advanced clerical or para-professional experience involving office management or program-related data handling; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree can substitute for two years of experience.
