An established industry player is seeking a Fiscal Technician to join their dynamic team within the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. This role focuses on advanced bookkeeping, accounting, and fiscal administration tasks, providing a meaningful opportunity for career growth. You will be responsible for examining financial records, overseeing Federal Grants, and managing travel expenses. This position offers the chance to contribute to the management of natural resources while developing your skills in a supportive environment. In this position, you will be responsible for the thorough examination and processing of financial records and documentation. Your duties will include overseeing default accounts related to Federal Grants, ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken to address any issues that arise. Additionally, you will review monthly coding allocations for Federal Coding associated with purchasing card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will also handle the processing of checks for Grants and Foundations, such as those from the Pittsburgh Foundation and the Keystone Tree Fund, as new funding opportunities are awarded. Furthermore, you will create, modify, and reduce budget reservation documents, known as pre-commitments, for Federal Appropriations. In this capacity, you will also act as the coordinator for the Agency Corporate Travel Card, the Airline Card, and the Agency Lodging Card, ensuring that all travel-related expenses are managed efficiently and in accordance with agency policies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 1 day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
