Summary
The employee will serve as the Management & Program Analyst (Executive Assistant) in the Data and Information Department of the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL), Veterans Affairs (VA). The VCL is a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year service aimed at connecting callers worldwide to a caring, qualified Veterans Administration employee. The VCL's mission is to provide 24/7, world-class suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to Veterans, Service Members and their family members.
Duties
Work Schedule: Typically administrative hours, with flexible schedule options after training. Coverage includes holidays due to 24/7/365 operations.
Telework: Not applicable for remote positions.
Remote: This is a remote position. Selectees will work outside of the local commuting area with a suitable home workspace and high-speed internet.

Requirements:
Qualifications: Must meet all requirements by 06/05/2025. Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements. Experience must include generating, analyzing, and synthesizing complex data, managing sensitive correspondence, evaluating administrative challenges, and serving as a liaison.
Applicants will be rated on competencies including Technical Competence, Communication, Planning and Evaluating, Project Management, Writing, Analysis and Problem Solving, Requirements Analysis, Accountability, and Organizational Stewardship.
Education: No substitution at this grade level. Recognized degrees from accredited institutions only.
Additional Information: Announcements remain open until 06/05/2025, with first consideration for applications received by that date. Work environment is primarily office-based, with occasional travel. Physical demands are sedentary with occasional travel.
