The annual base salary range for this position is a nationwide market range and reflects a broad spectrum of salaries across the country. The actual salary will depend on factors such as the role's scope, complexity, location, as well as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentives as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?

Performance Construction Advisors (PCA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Travelers, specializes in management consulting for commercial construction companies. We Build Better Contractors!

PCA facilitates exclusive peer groups of seven to ten CEOs, where, with a professional facilitator, leaders openly review their companies to build success for themselves and their stakeholders. PCA also offers leadership development, strategic planning, and succession planning consulting services.

This role involves acting as a Peer Group Facilitator and Senior Consultant, primarily facilitating meetings and providing consulting services. The candidate should have broad business experience applicable to PCA's programs and the creativity to address client needs. This position does not involve managing others.

The position is fully remote, combining mobile and home-based work.

This is a fully-commissioned role with a $48,000 draw and earning potential through commissions.

What Will You Do?
  1. Develop relationships and facilitate peer group meetings of construction CEOs.
  2. Analyze financials of peer group members.
  3. Prepare for peer group meetings with host companies.
  4. Coordinate logistics and follow-up with PCA staff.
  5. Conduct meetings with high quality and on schedule.
  6. Hold members accountable for follow-through.
  7. Provide limited one-on-one consulting to assist in goal achievement.
  8. Identify additional consulting opportunities within peer groups.
  9. Follow PCA's processes and contribute to their improvement.
  10. Maintain accurate records of members/clients.
  11. Collaborate with other functions to enhance member experience.
  12. Contribute to the development of the peer group operations manual.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

  1. At least 5 years of consulting experience with closely held business owners.
  2. Experience owning or operating a commercial construction business.
  3. Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
  4. Ability to deliver high-quality work on time.

  6. Strong team and individual performance capabilities.
  7. Responsiveness and helpfulness.

What is a Must Have?
  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. 10 years of business experience.
  3. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
