  • Four years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses.

About The Opportunity

The Management Analyst I supports professional administrative, financial, and operational functions in the Washington County Counsel’s Office. This role is responsible for accounts payable and receivable processing, contract administration, service account management, budget tracking, and other assigned operational tasks. The position contributes to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and supporting efficient departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; OR
  • Associate's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; AND two (2) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, financial, or similar analysis; OR
  • Four (4) years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses.
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass a criminal record check.

Washington County Counsel's Office represents the County in civil litigation at local, state and federal levels, in administrative and enforcement proceedings, and provides advice and analysis to County departments. We deliver quality legal services and creative solutions at a reasonable cost, while adhering to the highest ethical standards. Our office represents the Board of Commissioners, the Sheriff's Office and all County departments and employees. We also represent the Washington County Housing Authority, Fair Board, Enhanced Sheriff's Patrol District, Urban Road Maintenance District, Service District for Lighting, and Cooperative Library Services.
