The District Attorney’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented, analytically strong Crime Analyst with a primary focus on analyzing internal data along with external data sources (Oregon Criminal Justice Commission, NIBRS, UCR, etc.). The Crime Analyst will work with external public safety partners and other criminal justice agencies collecting relevant data.
This role centers on collecting, standardizing, evaluating, and interpreting data originating from outside the DA’s Office—including police agencies, state and federal systems, public safety partners, specialty courts, community corrections data, and other justice-related external datasets. The Crime Analyst will use external data, along with internal data, to develop products and geospatial mapping for presentation to community members and public safety partners.

Washington County is currently undergoing a comprehensive classification and compensation study. The purpose of this project is to create new job descriptions and create new classification and compensation systems. Outcomes of the project will include changes to classification titles, which could impact compensation structures. No one will have their pay rate lowered because of this project.
