Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is currently seeking one full-time Management Analyst 009865151M to work in the Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate (ND) at Kirtland Air Force Base near Albuquerque, NM. This NH-0343-03 position has a typical 2026 salary range of $76,463 – $100,040 (basic salary without locality included) and a Value of Position (VoP) score of 75. Locality for Albuquerque-Santa Fe area is 18.33% of basic salary. ** If your current basic salary is within the band, but above the VOP range, your basic salary will not be reduced if you are selected for the position. The primary purpose of this position, Management/Program Analyst, NH-0343-03, is to serve as the organization's program manager responsible for organizational nuclear air delivered (NAD) support programs and projects for the Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate (ND). Candidates should have exceptionally strong teamwork, organizational, communication, attendance, qualitative and quantitative skills. Candidate needs to be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with AFNWC Staff/Divisions/Directorates, field level users and their respective support agencies. This position is not eligible for remote work; situational telework only.

DUTIES

• Plans, organizes, and serves as the point of contact for NAD projects, tasks, processes, and programs.
• Analyzes internal and external data and information to determine effectiveness of projects / processes / procedures and adequacy of implementation within the Directorate.
• Supports / leads NAD projects, programs and performs special assignments providing recommendations on resources required to execute to meet milestones and goals.
• Supports and creates innovative solutions and presents recommendations to leadership for improving operational business needs and requirements.
• Prepare and present staff studies and products to the Program Acquisition Executive, Deputy and other management officials.
• Incumbent will establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, functional staff offices, and organizational counterparts at various levels in response to special project directions, funding issues, policy changes, and the impact of these changes.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify, defend, present, and/or advise on processes/actions and maintain good working relationships.
• This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre‐employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
• This position may require up to 25% travel.

SKILLS

• Experience with qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative programs to gather data, identify significant factors, and recommend a sound solution from a number of possible alternatives.
• Experience with mission, functions, goals, objectives, work practices pertinent to AFNWC programs/organizations that govern, integrate, and/or influence the acquisition mission.
• Ability to refine existing work methods and techniques to conduct analysis of specific issues or resolve of problems. Ability to gather, plan, organize and direct their own work and develop alternatives, and make recommendations to resolve problems.
