Job summary

UNC Pembroke invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Management, International Business and Supply Chain Management (MIBS). The positions are 0.5 FTE, part-time temporary, nine months per year, with a Monday–Friday schedule, teaching in areas such as Business Communications, Organization and Management, and Supply Chain Management.

• All degrees from accredited institutions; AACSB-accredited schools receive priority.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Undergraduate and MBA-level teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Online education delivery experience is beneficial.

Teaching and Qualifications

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Applicants with a Ph.D. or a DBA and a record of peer-reviewed publications in the last 5 years receive the highest priority.
• Ph.D./ DBA holders with professional experience and professionally-qualified Master’s degree holders with 18 hours in the appropriate teaching areas will be seriously considered.
• All degrees must be from accredited institutions. Degree-holders from AACSB accredited schools receive priority.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Proven and documented success in undergraduate teaching and at the MBA level is highly desirable.
• Experience with online education delivery is beneficial, especially for online teaching positions.
