Job Description

The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below.

Management

This is the wording that has to be put on all manager applicants for GM.

If you are a current employee with experience in restaurant management, please apply to be a General Manager today! $22.50- $26.00 per hour. Offering medical benefits, Paid Time Off, sick leave, employee discount, and bonuses for qualifying managers.

For AM Positions the range would be from $20.00-25.00.

Job Duties

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily.

Training and Orientation

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions and Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders. Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movement. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

Talking and hearing on telephone. Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks. Depth perception. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments and Physical Demands

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

• Standing most tasks; walking on tile surfaces.
• Sitting for paperwork at a desk.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds.
• Carrying: Large items such as pizza sauce up to 30 pounds.
• Pushing: Trays on dollies require force up to 7.5 pounds.
• Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder.
• Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly station and front counter.
• Crouching and squatting: occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: Above and below shoulder height, while cooking and stocking.
• Hand tasks: Eye-hand coordination, using pizza peel, cutter, etc.

Additional Information

Our range of pay is between $20.29 and $28/hr.

Driver Requirements

Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards. Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.

Delivery Skills

Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Physical Demands for Delivery

• Carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing.
• Driving within delivery area multiple times per shift.
• Walking between the store and delivery vehicle and to customer location.
• Climbing: navigating multiple flights of stairs.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions.
