Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain Customer Reference Environments (CREs) and oversee automation, CI/CD pipelines, and artifact management. You will collaborate across engineering, product, support, and services to ensure secure, scalable deployments and repeatable provisioning.

The role emphasizes DevOps best practices, environment monitoring, and continuous improvement to enhance customer experiences during new deployments and upgrades.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Customer Reference Environments (CREs)
• Develop and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub
• Manage artifact storage, versioning, and release promotion with Artifactory
• Partner with engineering, product, support, and services teams for environment setup
• Monitor environment health and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues
• Implement and enforce DevOps best practices
• Create standards, templates, runbooks, and reusable automation assets
• Support continuous improvement by enhancing provisioning and customer experience

• Develop and manage infrastructure automation and configuration management using Ansible
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
• Manage artifact storage, versioning, and release promotion processes using Artifactory
• Partner with software engineering, product, support, and services teams for environment setup, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Monitor environment health and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues

• Contribute to the creation of standards, templates, runbooks, and reusable automation assets
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance environment provisioning and customer experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
