Job summary

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist to assist in providing high-quality imaging services. The role includes performing diagnostic mammograms, preparing for intricate procedures, and maintaining radiation safety procedures.

Candidates should be ARRT registered with at least two years of experience in mammography. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including health plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a mammographer.
• Must possess two years of experience in performing mammography QA under the MQSA Standard.
• TOMO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient education regarding the exam and promote patient comfort.
• Perform diagnostic or screening mammograms, as ordered.
• Prepare for and assist the radiologist in intricate examinations, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high-quality films for the radiologist.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
