Job summary

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures and ensure patient comfort. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at our Barrington, RI clinical site.

The role requires ARRT registration, a minimum of two years’ experience, and knowledge of mammography QA standards. Enjoy a generous benefits package including medical plans, paid time off, and ongoing education reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a mammographer.
• Experience in performing mammography QA under the MQSA Standard.
• TOMO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient education regarding the exam and promote patient comfort.
• Perform diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered.
• Prepare for and assist the radiologist in intricate mammography examinations.
• Produce high-quality films for evaluation by the radiologist.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.
