Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Mammographer Will Train to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and related bone density exams while completing the required training and licensing steps. You will work closely with radiology staff to ensure high-quality imaging.

The role emphasizes patient education, safety, MQSA compliance, accurate record-keeping, and timely communication of results, with a schedule supporting 40 hours per week and day shifts.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Mammography certification as required.
• MA license in Radiography and Mammography.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Completion of training and ARRT Mammography registry within 1 year.

Mansioni

• Perform mammographic exams and stereotactic procedures.
• Ensure MQSA compliance and QA checks.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Consult with radiologist as needed.
• Educate patients on screening vs diagnostic processes.
• Maintain patient records and data management.
