Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers is seeking a dedicated mammography technologist to join our Loudoun team. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, position patients, and ensure high-quality images under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities emphasize patient comfort, imaging accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols in a weekday, full-time role with no weekends, evenings, or on-call. Experience in breast imaging is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Mammography experience preferred.
• DXA experience preferred (training may be available).

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensure imaging meets radiologist diagnostic standards.
• Provide clear communication and reassurance during exams.
• Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologist teammates.
