Fairfax Radiology Centers is seeking a mammography technologist to perform screening exams and position patients for high-quality images. You will work closely with experienced radiologists in a team-focused environment that emphasizes precision and patient reassurance.

The role offers a predictable, weekday schedule with no weekends, evenings, or on-call requirements, and compensation is provided hourly based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Mammography experience is preferred.
• DXA experience is a plus (training may be available).

Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensure imaging meets radiologist diagnostic standards.
• Provide clear communication and reassurance during exams.
• Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologist teammates.
