Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will ensure optimal positioning, compression, and exposure, and communicate clearly with anxious patients while maintaining high image quality.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certifications in Radiography and Mammography, maintain state licensure as required, and possess BLS and MQSA CEUs.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State radiologic technologist license (where applicable).
• Current BLS certification.
• MQSA compliance – 15 breast CEUs every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Ensure correct positioning, compression, and exposure parameters.
• Maintain image quality and documentation; QA responsibilities.
• Explain procedures clearly and comfort patients.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment; support digital systems (RIS/PACS).
• Mentor students and foster clinical professionalism.
