Job summary

Solis Mammography in Boerne, TX is hiring a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic mammography with high accuracy. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a patient-focused team in a cohesive environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D required.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Knowledge of database software, eRad, Sectra RIS/PACS software is preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide services and support for mammography exams with accuracy.
• Operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assist Radiologist and prepare for intricate examinations, including biopsies.
• Maintain safety and radiation protection standards at all times.
