Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Radiologic Mammography Technologist to perform outpatient mammographic imaging. You will prepare patients, relay radiologist instructions, and capture diagnostic images while documenting patient data for review.

Role requires CA CRT/mammography licensure, AMA Radiologic Technology education, BLS, and strong patient care skills. Sign-on bonus offered for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of AMA Radiologic Technology program or AMA Technologist program.
• Completion of 40 hours of Mammography education.
• California CRT & Mammography license; license verification prior to start date.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy/physiology for imaging and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic imaging procedures in outpatient clinics.
• Prepare patients for Radiologic/Mammography exams and relay radiologist instructions.
• Capture usable diagnostic images for radiologist diagnosis.
• Document patient data, concerns, and care in medical records.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment.
• May work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.
