CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Radiologic Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic imaging procedures in outpatient clinics. You will prepare patients, capture diagnostic images, relay radiologist instructions, and document data in the medical record.
You may troubleshoot and maintain equipment and work at other sites in the Greater Sacramento Area. This role requires CA CRT & Mammography licenses, AMA Radiologic Technology training, and BLS certification.
As our Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform mammographic imaging procedures in our outpatient clinics.
Every day you will assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist, help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions, and collect patient data, documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided in the patient's medical record for the Radiologist’s review. You will also troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. You may be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.
