Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation in Sacramento is seeking a Radiologic Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic imaging in outpatient clinics. You will prepare patients, follow radiologist instructions, and capture high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation.

You will troubleshoot and calibrate radiology equipment, document patient data, and may work at other Greater Sacramento Area locations as needed. Sign-on bonus available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• AMA Radiologic Technology program completed.
• + 40 hours of Mammography education.
• CA CRT & Mammography license; verification prior to start may be required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy/physiology for imaging and radiology equipment care.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic imaging procedures in outpatient clinics.
• Prepare patients for radiologic/mammography examinations and relay radiologist instructions.
• Capture usable diagnostic images for radiologist diagnosis or ruling out conditions.
• Document patient data, concerns, and care in the medical record.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment; may work at other locations in the Greater Sacramento Area.
