Role Overview

This position is for a Full-Time Mammography Technologist (RT(R)) responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms.

Key Duties

• Prepare patients and equipment for mammography procedures.


• Perform mammograms independently, including localizations, stereotactic, and contrast-enhanced biopsies.


• Rotate between various locations, including the Siteman Cancer Center, Center for Advanced Medicine, South County, Highlands Screening Center, or Mammography Van.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency.


• Registered in radiologic technology (R.T. (R)).


• Preferred: RT(M) certification; willingness to train for mammography (M).


• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and additional certifications (RTR, CT, MR, etc.).


• Preferred experience: 2+ years, CPR, and IV therapy skills.
