Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital's ACC Breast Center seeks a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, with potential to learn localization and stereotactic biopsies. Day shifts Mon–Fri with rotating hours and occasional Saturdays across multiple sites.

Prepare patients and equipment, perform studies independently, including on-call and portable exams. Minimum requirements include an associate degree or trade school equivalency, RT(R) registry, CPR and IV

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency required.
• R.T. (R) registry required/preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Intravenous Therapy certification.
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI.
• RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - ACC Breast Center

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates!!!

Position Details

• Day Shift Hours: Mon – Fri at rotating shifts between 7am & 4:30pm with two Saturdays a year
• Location: Rotates between Siteman Cancer Center in the GCW Building & Center for Advanced Medicine Building with the option to also rotate to South County, Highlands Screening Center, or the Mammography Van
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, with the ability to learn additional responsibilities of Localizations, and stereotactic and Contrast Enhanced (CEM) biopsies.
• RT (M) Certification – preferred but not required
• Willing to Train for Mammography (M)
