Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with mammography certification to perform radiographic and mammographic exams. You will determine technique, position patients, and ensure high-quality images while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARRT mammography registration and IDNS licensure, plus ability to work rotating shifts across Webster and Irving facilities.

Qualifications

• Mammography experience preferred.
• Experience with outpatient radiology settings is advantageous.
• Knowledge of radiography principles and patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Determine radiographic/mammographic technique and position patient for exams.
• Position patient and operate equipment to obtain designated radiographs.
• Record patient history and document findings for radiologist review.
• Label films and process radiographs per manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare radiology jackets, prior films, and encounter information for billing.
