Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology.
• 3 years of radiography experience; mammography experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Health Information System and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient, adjusts equipment, immobilization and support devices.
• Determines appropriate mammography technique based on anatomy to obtain quality films.
• Operates mammography/radiographic equipment and maintains supplies.
• Maintains patient records and ensures patient safety.
• Performs quality control and notes when malfunctions occur.
