Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist for the Breast Center. The role requires ARRT certification and likely at least one year of Mammography experience, with responsibilities spanning image acquisition, patient positioning, and QA/QC tasks.

Expect collaboration with Radiologists and staff to maintain high-quality patient care. The position supports a schedule including Wednesday day shifts and two evening shifts weekly, plus a weekend rotation, with a pay

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT certified.
• Minimum of one year Mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Determine mammographic optimal image quality using proper compression, technique and positioning.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment per protocol.
• Manage QA/QC tasks and ensure image labeling accuracy.
• Coordinate with Radiologists and other staff for efficient workflow.
• Participate in department meetings and training.
