Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic exams at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. You will work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate brings ARRT Mammography certification, a professional radiologic technology degree, BLS, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy in every study.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification maintained or in progress.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography exams with quality imaging.
• Assists with stereotactic biopsies, clip placements and related procedures.
• Ensures patient identification, order verification and exam preparation.
• Maintains radiation safety and a clean, safe environment.
• Documents procedures accurately and completes QC reporting.
• Communicates with patients to ensure comfort and address concerns.
