Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana is seeking a Mammography Technologist and Breast Sonographer for a PRN, on-site role combining mammography and ultrasound. The position requires ARRT Mammography, state license if applicable, and BLS certification.

You will perform screening and diagnostic imaging, perform biopsies as needed, and ensure safety and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Mammography credential.
• State Rad Tech license where applicable.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Mammography and breast Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs Breast imaging including Mammography and Ultrasound, with biopsies as needed.
• Demonstrates proper positioning competency and records imaging data.
• Operates equipment while ensuring high-quality, safe imaging.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and safe environment.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Follows protocols, coding, charging, consents, and QC procedures.
• Completes documentation and records accurately.
