Job summary

Menorah Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist PRN to join our team in Overland Park, KS. You will perform mammographic procedures with precise positioning and safety practices, supporting radiology staff and delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires ARRT (R)(M) registration, an AMA-accredited Radiography program, and at least one year of mammography experience. BCLS is required within 30 days of start, with comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• AMA-accredited Radiography program graduate.
• Registered ARRT (R)(M).
• BCLS required within 30 days of start.
• Minimum 1 year Mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients with accurate technique.
• Explain procedures and educate patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Develop and evaluate film quality for density, contrast, and distortion.
• Assist Radiologist during procedures as needed.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
