Qualifications

• CRT-Radiographer (R) ARRT required upon hire.
• CRT-Mammography (M) ARRT required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate Mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Apply independent judgment while following established policies and procedures.
• Provide high-quality images for interpretation and ensure patient comfort.

Scope of work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level Preferred
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
