Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammograms with precision. You will work under a site designate leader, ensuring image quality and patient safety in a busy Troy, MI setting.

The role requires ARRT certifications in Radiography and Mammography, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and prior imaging experience. This is a full-time daytime position with a 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC/JRCERT accredited radiography program.
• 1 year of radiology experience preferred (1–3 years beyond staff radiographer).
• CRT-Radiographer (R) – ARRT is required upon hire.
• CRT-Mammography (M) – ARRT required.
• CRT-BLS – BLS (AHA or ARC) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient mammography exams with appropriate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate clinical skills and provide high-quality images for interpretation.
• Adhere to Corewell Health patients-first care and safety policies.

Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of work
Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

• Qualifications
• Required associate’s degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level Preferred
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
