We are seeking a Mammography Technologist responsible for performing screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to aid physicians in diagnosis.
Key duties include adhering to department protocols, minimizing patient exposure through ALARA principles, evaluating image quality, and ensuring proper data processing and patient identification.
They provide compassionate patient care, support patient safety, and assist radiologists during procedures, all while following aseptic techniques and organizational policies.
Qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-Mammography and Radiography certifications, and BLS certification.
Experience requirements are at least 2 years in Diagnostic Radiography/X-Ray or 1 year in Breast Imaging, with skills in operating radiographic equipment, effective communication, and customer service essential.
