Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time Mammography technologist at St. Vincent Fishers Hospital in Fishers, IN.

You will operate state-of-the-art mammography equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety protocols. You will educate patients on the importance of regular screenings and collaborate with the care team to deliver accurate, timely imaging and data transfer to PACS.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Experience with radiography or mammography preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and PACS submission is important.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment and position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Educate patients about screening importance and procedures.
• Maintain image quality, safety standards, and timely submission of data to PACS.
