Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in line with physician orders and safety standards. Responsibilities include positioning patients, developing films, ensuring image quality, and adhering to MQSA/ACR guidelines.

The role involves patient education, data entry, teamwork with healthcare staff, and participation in quality assurance and standby rotations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Washington RT certification and BLS at hire.
Strong communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
WA Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT-M registration or willingness to train with two years of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

Perform mammography procedures, position patients, develop films and evaluate image quality.
Ensure patient safety, radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance (MQSA/ACR).
Educate patients, address concerns and promote a positive experience.
Input patient data into systems and coordinate with healthcare teams.
Monitor patient condition, manage contrast media and respond to adverse reactions.
Maintain a clean radiology room and participate in quality assurance activities.
Collaborate with staff, follow safety policies and participate in shift rotations and standby calls.
