Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• CPR certification current.
• Ability to perform mammography procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.
• Continued CEUs in modality as required by MQSA or state.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated mammography scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure proper imaging.
• Adjust scan parameters with dose reduction techniques when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the RIS and adhere to safety rules.
• Support imaging protocol manuals, supplies, and training as needed.
