Job summary

Pacific Medical Centers is seeking a Mammography Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology for the PacMed Clinics in Bothell. This screening-only position focuses on producing high quality radiographic images and caring for patients throughout their breast health journey.

The role requires ARRT registry credentials, Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure at hire, BLS at hire, and Mammography registration within 1 year. Depending on location, general radiography skills may also be used.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT Registry for Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• Mammography Registry within 1 year of hire.
• Prior general radiography experience may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

Mammography Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology. This is a screening only Mammography Tech position.

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

Required Qualifications

Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire.

Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
