St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Mammography Technologist dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The role involves performing diagnostic mammographic examinations, ensuring quality control, and maintaining high standards in patient education and technical care. The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic mammographic and stereotactic examinations, following department procedures under the supervision of the Department Section Chief, Site Manager, and Network Director of Women’s Imaging. This role requires significant judgment in executing duties.
Frequent use of hands and fingers, lifting up to 30 pounds, walking and standing for up to 6 hours daily, sitting for up to 2 hours, often lifting arms above shoulder level, occasional stooping, bending, crouching, normal hearing, and vision.
Graduate from an ARRT-recognized program, ARRT registered or eligible, with registration in Mammography required within 1 year of hire. NJ staff must be registered before employment begins.
Minimum of 1-year staff technologist experience preferred, with prior mammography experience and computer skills. Ongoing continuing education is required. Current CPR certification is mandatory.
