Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Mammographer to provide high quality mammographic services under the direction of the Mammography Supervisor. The role focuses on accurate, safe, and timely imaging and delivering exemplary service to patients, families, physicians and coworkers.

You will perform high quality exams, assist radiologists with biopsies, maintain safety and QA compliance, and participate in CE activities to maintain RT(M) qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1+ years of experience in radiologic imaging.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT Mammography certification; BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality mammography exams with patient comfort and dignity.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and with QA/ compliance.
• Maintains safety, accurate documentation, and timely reporting.
• Participates in CE activities to maintain RT (M) qualifications.
• Ensures equipment and areas meet MSQA, FDA, JCAHO, and ACR requirements.
