Job summary

TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers in Kingwood, Texas, part of USPI, seeks a Mammography Technologist to join full-time. You will perform high-quality digital mammograms and support patient comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes early detection, precision imaging, and collaboration with radiologists. Current ARRT and Mammography certs, Texas MRT license, and BLS are required. Strong new grads considered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification required.
• Texas MRT license required.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the EMR system.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current on mammography best practices.
