Job summary

TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers in Kingwood, Texas, seeks a Mammography Technologist to join our full-time team. You will perform digital mammography exams with emphasis on patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.

As part of the United Surgical Partners International (USPI) network, you will contribute to early detection, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient care while following imaging protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification required.
  • Texas MRT license required.
  • CPR certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
  • Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the EMR system.
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality digital mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting dedicated to early detection, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical records system
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current on mammography best practices
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification required
  • Texas MRT license required
  • Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
  • CPR certification (BLS) required
