Northfield Hospital + Clinics in Minnesota is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography and bone density scans, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging in accordance with MQSA and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate documentation, and continuous professional development.

The position requires ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography, BLS/CPR readiness, CPI within six months, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R/M) registration required for Radiography and Mammography.
• Enrollment in NH+C RQI program for BLS and complete quarterly tasks.
• CPI certification within six months of start date.
• Annual Workplace Violence education as part of onboarding and ongoing training.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English effectively.

Responsabilités

• Deliver excellent patient care with compassion and clear explanations of procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams by reviewing orders and positioning.
• Perform quality exams using imaging equipment and monitor patient during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records in HIS/RIS, PACS and department systems.
• Complete scheduled and unscheduled work calmly and maximize productivity.
• Stay current in the field through CEUs and training, and orient new staff.
