Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL seeks a part-time Mammographer in the Imaging department to perform specialized radiographic procedures and support radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.

The role includes direct patient care, participation in safety and quality initiatives, and adherence to federal and state regulations. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
• Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, perform specialized radiographic imaging procedures to aid radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in direct patient care and facility quality and safety initiatives.
• Assist with complex and sensitive patient and family issues.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
