Job summary

University of Illinois Chicago (Radiology) seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform routine imaging exams and ensure high-quality breast imaging. You will work under the supervision of a radiologist, following MQSA and internal safety protocols in a busy on-site setting in Chicago, IL.

Required ARRT Mammography, ARRT Radiography, Illinois radiography licensure, and an AHA CPR certificate. High school diploma or equivalent, ability to rotate weekends, and strong interpersonal skills are

• Current ARRT registration in Radiography.
• Illinois licensure in radiography.
• ARRT Mammography certification.
• AHA CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Mammography imaging exams per department protocols.
• Obtain detailed patient history and document in medical records.
• Educate patients on breast care and safety practices.
• Navigate EMR and imaging information systems.
• Schedule exams and assist with related regulatory tasks.
• Maintain quality control for mammography equipment.
• Train Mammography students and participate in safety audits.
