Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography. You will perform stereotactic biopsies and comprehensive QC procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced radiology environment.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and the ability to work autonomously with indirect supervision while contributing to multidisciplinary patient care across the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by ARRT as Radiologic Technologist with R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC for mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform all mammography studies including stereotactic needle localization and ductograms.
• Work with autonomy and indirect supervision within the radiology department.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in mammography.
2. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
