Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join its imaging team. The role requires stereotactic biopsy competency and QC activities related to mammography, with autonomy and indirect supervision in day-to-day work.

The candidate will perform a full range of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist with Radiography and Mammography certification.
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC related to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.

Work Hours:

7:30 AM-4 PM Mon, Thurs, Fri/Thurs, Fri rotation
