Job Summary
Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Key responsibilities include supervising radiology procedure staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations and quality control, managing staffing, maintaining PI data, and supporting the hospital’s strategic and performance improvement plans.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff in all duties of a radiology procedure on a direct or indirect basis.
- Ensure compliance with Florida Office of Radiation Control and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain quality control as defined by relevant agencies.
- Ensure completion of all required work at the end of the tour.
- Meet staffing requirements for departments.
- Provide all necessary PI data as required on the departmental PI plan.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with HCA Florida Osceola Hospital core values.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R).
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radiology Diagnostic Technologist.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Associate Degree or vocational school graduate.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
