Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL seeks a Mammography Technologist to provide routine and specialized mammography procedures. Requires ARRT Radiography certification; one year of Mammography experience is preferred and BLS must be obtained if not already held.

Advanced mammography certification is preferred. Eligible employees may access comprehensive benefits and PSLF-eligible programs as part of UAB Medicine’s commitment to staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT is required.
• One year experience in Mammography preferred; education cannot be substituted.
• Currently registered as RT(ARRT) in Radiography.
• Advanced Certification in mammography preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
