Endeavor Health in Vernon Hills is seeking a Mammography Technologist II to perform high-quality mammography exams under the supervision of a staff radiologist. The role emphasizes patient safety and adherence to ACR guidelines, with focus on arranging specialty imaging as needed.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• CPR certification required. ARRT in Mammography required.
• IEMA license.
• Mammography experience required.
• Proficiency with word processing and computer skills; typing 25-35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
• Ensures patient safety during examination.
• Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.
• Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours

Hours: Day shift 7-5:30 or 8-4:30

Required Travel: Yes- Northbrook, Gurnee

What you will do:
