Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston is seeking a Mammography Technologist III to perform specialized examinations and manage imaging quality. You will work under radiologist direction, apply procedures with initiative, and help budget for the department while maintaining supplies and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Mammography experience, ARRT and CPR certification, and strong communication and computer skills, including typing 25–35 wpm. This is a full-time daytime role in Evanston.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• CPR and ARRT certification required; IEMA license preferred.
• 3–5 years of Mammography experience; 1–2 years supervisory preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills; typing 25–35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized Mammography exams under supervision and radiologist guidance.
• Apply Mammography procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Monitor budgets and prepare yearly budget projections.
• Perform quality control on equipment per ACR standards.
• Maintain supplies and manage scheduling for department staff.
• Explain procedures clearly and arrange additional imaging when needed.
• Uphold high quality care and ACR guidelines in imaging.
• Maintain professional interactions with patients and team.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.47 - $58.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

• Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist.
• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintain monthly budget constraints and perform yearly budgetary projections.
• Perform quality control on Equipment according to the ACR standards.
• Maintain supplies needed throughout department.
• Scheduling staff and maintaining schedule updates.
• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
• Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.

What you will need:

• Education: High School degree or equivalent
• Certification: CPRcertification required. ARRT required.
• Licenses: IEMA
• Experience: 3 to 5 years Mammography experience preferred/1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and computer skills. Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm.
