Job summary

Providence Swedish Mill Creek is hiring a Radiology Technologist to produce high-quality radiographic images and to interact with patients in a caring, comforting manner.

The role may require general radiography duties for diagnostic exams depending on location. ARRT registration and a formal radiologic technology training program are required, with potential Mammography experience of 1 year. Per-Diem schedule and on-site work at Mill Creek.

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
• ARRT registry in Radiologic Technology (Washington)
• 1 year of full-time mammography experience may be required
• Location-dependent duties may include general radiography skills for diagnostic exams

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Washington Radiologic Technologist National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists National Registered Technologist - Mammography Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required 1 year of full-time mammography experience.
